I LOVE AMP
From conception, the idea for the band was clear. In 2013, I Love Amp debuted their 90’s inspired show with some extra crowd favourites thrown in for good measure. From then on, the band has flourished. They have developed an incredible live show for Festivals, Parties, Corporate Events & Weddings. Their schedule of public gigs is also extensive.
One of the most in demand bands in the southwest, I Love Amp is made up of professional session musicians who always deliver the finest performances.
– 2019 by public vote, they won ‘Book Entertainments’ award for ‘Best Function Band in the UK’. They won it again in 2020 along with another Corporate LiveWire Prestige award for ‘Event Band of the Year 2020 & 2021’.

Get in touch with us to discuss options, and availability. We will then send you our contract. Once you’re happy with everything, all bookings are confirmed with a 25% deposit and return of a signed contract signature page.
(We cannot guarantee a date unless the deposit has been received).
Your balance is due 14 days before your event.
The band is based between Plymouth and Exeter in Devon. We are happy to travel all over the UK and beyond.
The band has played at events in; – Plymouth, Exeter, Torquay, Paignton, Truro, Bristol, Bath, Taunton, Barnstable, Tavistock, Liskeard, Penzance, St. Austel, Callington, Bodmin, Torpoint, Newton Abbot, Totnes, Kingsbridge, Dartmouth, Falmouth, Newquay, Launceston, Bideford, Tiverton, Exmouth, Honiton, Yeovil, Axminster, Dorset, Somerset, London, Liverpool and many more.
We require:
A flat, solid and level stage area (recommended 3mx6m).
Approximately 1-1.5 hrs to set up and sound check from the moment that we have access to a clear stage.
Access to an independent, 2 socket, 3 Pin, 13 Amp ring mains power supply. (This must be independent of Catering, Disco etc.)
Where generators/extensions are being used, they must adhere to the specifications in our contract.
Refreshments. Hot food and soft drinks
A space/room for resting and changing in.
For a standard evening event we will perform for 2 hrs. – (It will be more if your package includes the acoustic duo or trio).
We can either play 2 x 1hr sets or a continuous 2hr show (which often works better for the flow of the evening).
The rest of the evening will be covered by the DJ style services that we offer.
The band is very experienced. We know how to make sure everyone at the event is having a great time and always on the dance floor! Whilst we don’t allow you to choose the whole show, we can provide you with our repertoire list before your event. If you would like us to leave any tracks out or make sure that we definitely play a song or two from our repertoire, we’re happy to craft a setlist around that. – for specific song requests that are not in our repertoire, please get in touch.

Our prices vary depending on travel, timings and the package / options you would like.

All of our packages provide music as either a playlist (Basic package) or DJ style service (standard & premium packages) with requests, mixes and pro DJ software (Wifi dependent)*. Once we’re set up you’ll have entertainment before, between and after our live sets up until midnight. – Please note that we don’t hire in a separate DJ, we take care of it for you. Our DJ style services are a free ‘added extra’ that we provide for you to keep the party going all night long!
*If a solid Wifi connection is not available at your venue, we will do our best to provide this service via a mobile signal, however we can’t guarantee it will be possible. – In this instance we can offer you the choice of either providing us with your own playlist of requests in advance for us to download and play ‘offline’ at your event, or if you’re happy to let us take care of it, we have loads of great tunes available and downloaded that we can play for you. – Please note that unfortunately the DJ software is reliant on being ‘online’ to stream, so DJ style mixes will be unavailable in this situation.
